Born in Ohio moved to Georgia when I was six. There I met Mrs Camp an impressionist artist. Along with my mothers love of art, I was hooked. In the forth grade I and one other person did all the props for the school play and did all the art for the halls. At fifteen I painted my first commisson piece. My fathers employer commissoned me to paint a portait of his father. When I was sixteen I begin to do pencil sketches of my co-workers children and families. Besides high school I earned a diploma in architectural drafting. I served in the Army for three years with one in Vietnam.
My mediums include painting in oils and acrylics, scrimshaw on ivory, bone and horn. Sculptures in wood ,stone and cement.
